Mission Statement
The
La Paz County Sheriff's Office is dedicated to:
- Preparing its officers so they may perform their
duties for the citizens and visitors of La Paz county, by providing
training and guidelines for exemplary performance;
- Investing in the future of our communities so that
not only we, but our children will be able to live and play in a safe
environment
- Enabling the citizens of La Paz County, in
conjunction with other law enforcement agencies, to work with the
Sheriff’s Office and its employees to target problem areas and be
vigilant to deter criminal activity throughout our communities.
- Respecting the diversity of the individual and use
that as a strength on which to build community relationships;
- A commitment of service to the highest level,
exercising compassion, sincerity and understanding, all of which will
act as a cornerstone for every contact with the public; and,
- Enforcing the laws of the State of Arizona and
adhering to the precepts of the Constitution of the United States.
