With
winter visitors arriving, OHV (Off-Highway Vehicle) season will soon be
upon us. Many out-of state visitors, and even locals for that matter,
have questions regarding Arizona Off-Highway Vehicle laws and
regulations. In particular, the OHV decal requirement. For
out-of state visitors with OHVs registered in their home state, the
decal requirement does not apply, except under certain conditions. For
further information and answers to any questions you may have,
please see the Arizona Game & Fish Department OHV website, below: Arizona OHV Regulations & FAQs Download the Arizona OHV Guide HERE 08/20/2012
The La Paz County Sheriff’s
Office would like to ensure that all citizens are aware of the new “booster
seat law” that went into effect on August 2 2012.
The new law will require children younger than 8, or less
than 4 feet 9 inches tall, to sit on a booster seat to ensure that the seatbelt
fits correctly across their shoulder/chest and lap. This of course does not apply to small
children who should still be in a child restraint seat. If you have any further questions you can
